Digitalization in the textile industry has ceased to be a future promise and has become an increasingly present factor in the daily activity of companies.
In this context, the Textile and Fashion Observatory, together with EY-Parthenon, drives the 2nd Workshop of the digitization cycleThis is a day focused on how to apply artificial intelligence and other technologies to specific challenges in the sector, from process control and automated manufacturing to inventory management, demand analysis or the treatment of post-consumer textile waste.
The meeting will be held next April 9, 10: 30 has 13: 30 h, in the offices of EY-Parthenon, located in Avenida de Sarrià, 102-106, Torres Sarrià A, Barcelona (08017).
Following an initial session held in Madrid with EY, this second date wants to focus on capabilities, available technologies and necessary organizational skills to move forward with sound judgment in the digital transformation.
During the day it They will address issues closely related to business reality.For example, how to improve demand forecasting, optimize inventories and reduce unsold stock; or how to gain efficiency in quality, operations and production inputs, as well as the treatment of post-consumer textile waste, among others.
The workshop will also serve to analyze the technologies already available, their trends, the barriers that still hinder their adoption, especially in SMEs, and the role that both collaborative initiatives and public policies can play in accelerating the digitization of the sector.
The day is especially aimed at general management and profiles in human resources, operations, innovation and digitalizationas well as to professionals involved in the green and digital transformation of textile, footwear and clothing companies.
In addition, a sector survey whose aggregate results will be presented during the workshop. Answering it does not necessarily imply attending the meeting, but it does contribute to generating a shared vision on the degree of maturity, needs and challenges of digitalization of the sector.
