With a duration of 2 years (May 2021-May 2023) and a budget of €1.128.000, the COSME project, CircularInnoBooster, wants to transform the fashion and textile industries towards the circular economy and sustainability. This change will be carried out using innovation and welcoming entrepreneurs in order to generate business models based on the circular economy. The project is 75% funded by the EU and led by IED jointly with Texfor, Finnova Foundation, Circulab and The Circular Project with HumanNation.
To reach its goal, the CirCoAx project was created, an accelerator for SMEs, Startups and entrepreneurs in the fashion and textile sectors. In this project, 30 beneficiaries receive technical and financial assistance to develop and implement innovative applications, products, processes, new business models, new brand strategies, all to transform companies in the fashion and textile industry into circular, sustainable companies. and regenerating. All this will be done through a collaboration platform.
