Updated course on HR management in textile companies – 2nd edition

Managing people in the textile industry has become much more complex in a very short time: new regulations, new working models, new professional profiles… and the HR department at the heart of all these changes. To address this reality, and following the success of the first edition, Texfor organizes Second edition of the course “Current HR Management in Textile Companies”, imparted by Georgina Grau, lawyer and labor advisor of the Confederation of the Textile Industry – Texfor.

In this intensive, practical and fully updated course which will address the current reality of people management in textile companies, as well as the main difficulties they encounter on a daily basis, providing criteria, tools and solutions from a labor perspective.

All content will be worked on taking as a reference the Collective Agreement of the Textile and Clothing Industry, to ensure that the training is directly applicable in the company.

The course is aimed at managers and members of the personnel/HR area of textile companies and, in general, to professionals who want practical, specific and up-to-date training on certain aspects of labor law related to the management of people.

Objective

1. Learn about new regulations applicable to employment practices, including those recently approved, those expected to be approved in the short or medium term, and those included in the collective bargaining agreement, highlighting:
   
   o News regarding maternity and paternity leave
   Latest changes to the textile and clothing agreement published in the BOE
   o Future developments in time recording, new work permits and jurisprudence regarding dismissals
2. Update yourself on regulations and interpretations regarding the measures
   approved in recent months and those that arise during the course.
3. Exchange experiences and doubts among participants.

Professor

The course will be taught by Georgina Grau, Lawyer, mediator in economics and business. Legal and labor advisor at Texfor.

The classes will have a strong practical focus. Participants will be provided with an email address so they can communicate with the instructor if they wish.
The course program will be adapted to the proposals and doubts expressed by the interested parties themselves.

Hybrid delivery modality

Due to its practical nature, this training will be delivered in person. To facilitate access for participants who may have difficulty attending in person, the possibility of attending the training in a virtual classroom simultaneously via the Zoom platform will be considered, although in-person attendance is recommended.
It is essential to choose a format on the registration form.

Degree

A certificate of completion of the training will be given to all participants who have attended a minimum of 75% of the classes.

Where: In person (Calle Sant Quirze, 30. 08201 Sabadell) or in a Virtual Classroom (Zoom platform).

AEQCT members: €250
Rest of attendees: €600
