Texfor – Confederation of the Textile Industry organizes, with the collaboration of the Association of Textile Chemists and Colorists – AEQCT, a specific course on Colorimetry applied to the Textile Industry. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about and resolve practical questions about colorimetry and its applications in textile production processes.
This training is aimed at technical personnel (laboratory, production, commercial, etc.) of companies in the textile sector and suppliers that work with color.
Acquire the theoretical and practical knowledge used in the textile industry for color control and recipe development, using a spectrophotometer.
Session 1 – Theoretical foundations of Colorimetry
CIELAB color differences
Session 2 – Color quality control
Other colorimetric values: Whiteness, color strength, gray scale
Session 3 – Instrumental color prediction
Formulation and correction of color recipes
The course will be taught by Jordi Magí Carceller, Chemical Technical Engineer of the Aguilar Pineda company. Specialist equipment and technicians with DATACOLOR spectrophotometers.
A certificate of completion of the training will be given to all participants who have attended a minimum of 75% of the classes.
This training will be given in person. To facilitate access to those participants who have difficulty attending in person, the possibility of following the training in Virtual Classroom format will be considered. Registration will have to be done in one format or another.
This type of modality allows classes to take place in a physical classroom and students are divided between in-person attendees and virtual classroom attendees connected live to the sessions.

Bonus part of the course fee (156 €): Texfor offers all members registered for the course who request it and who meet the conditions to do so, the management of the procedures with the administration to receive a part of the training amount.
