COURSE: Advanced 3D Fashion Design

Following the success of the beginner level course, TEXFOR Sets in motion the Advanced training in fashion design with Clo 3DA unique opportunity to further explore digital design applied to the textile and fashion sector.

Subsidized course within the textile sector training plan promoted by the Consorci per a la Formació Contínua de Catalunya. Requirements: be an active worker or affected by an ERTE in a company, self-employed or unemployed, in Catalonia.

Objective

Students will learn to translate their creative ideas into realistic digital designs, applying weaving simulations and perfecting their pattern making skills to create unique and contemporary garments.

• Learn to use 3D design software with advanced pattern design and editing tools.
• Practice with advanced tools to perfect visual presentations for clients and portfolios.
• Creating striking visual presentations for clients and portfolios.

Addressed to

Active workers or job seekers with knowledge of fashion design who wish to acquire skills in digital design applied to textiles/fashion.

Identification and in-depth knowledge of the software

• Advanced pattern making
• Pattern scaling
• Pattern nomenclature and printing
• Modular configuration
• Embroidery creation
• Creating positioned elements

Applying tools: texturizing, mapping, and creating hair

• Creating texture maps
• Creating normal maps
• Creating roughness maps
• Setting hair parameters

Fabric and avatar animation application

• Setting animation parameters
• Running the animation process
• Applying a virtual catwalk to animation

Creating real-time renders

• Editing image properties
• Recording the render
• Storing the render

Methodology

Eminently practical training designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of advanced 3D fashion design, focusing on the use of specialized software and pattern editing techniques.

Degree

A certificate of achievement will be awarded to those who attend at least 75% of the classes.

Calendar: September 22, 24, 29, October 1, 6, 8, 13, 15, 20,27, 29, and 2025, XNUMX
Duration: 30 hours long.
Schedule: Monday and Wednesday, from 15:15 p.m. to 17:45 p.m.
