The European textile sector is entering a new regulatory phase, marked by greater demands in sustainability, traceability, circularity and corporate responsibility. To help companies anticipate this scenario,Texfor organizes the course TEXTILE COURSE 2030: Key regulatory aspects of sustainability to avoid being left out of the market, taught by David Allo, Head of Sustainability at Texfor.
The course will cover the main sustainability standards that already affect the textile sector and those that will shape its evolution in the coming years. Also Its impact on businesses, the risks and opportunities it presents will be analyzed.and work will be done on a practical roadmap to anticipate changes and adapt business models.
All of this using a methodology with:
1. Context: Why everything is changing (45 min)
2. European Textile Strategy (1 hr)
3. Key regulation already approved (1 hr 30 min)
4. Regulation 2030 (2 h)
5. Expected impact on companies (1 h)
6. Risks and Opportunities (45 min)
7. Practical roadmap (45 min)

The course will be taught by David Allo, Sustainability Manager at Texfor. Participate in Circular Economy work groups in Euratex, in the United Nations FICCA decarbonization group, in the Fashion Social Forum and in the sustainability working groups in the CEOE and Foment. Additionally, in other professional experiences he has worked as a consultant and advisor for major textile brands and has studied more than 100 factories throughout Europe to assess their environmental performance.
A certificate of completion of the training will be given to all participants who have attended a minimum of 75% of the classes.

Schedule: from 16:00 PM to 18:30 PM (first day from 16:00 PM to 18:00 PM)
Where: virtual classroom through the Zoom platform.

Rest of attendees: €275
Bonus part of the course fee (91 €): Texfor offers all members enrolled in the course who request it and meet the conditions, the management of the procedures with the administration to subsidize part of the cost of the training.
