DigiTVC's goal was clear from the start: develop a useful, applicable and scalable Digitalization Protocol throughout the textile value chain. To ensure that the document was based on real-world challenges and data, the consortium deployed three pilots in an industrial environment: Olius Textile (Spain), with IoT for energy monitoring; A Sampaio & Filhos – Têxteis SA (Portugal), with IA for automatic defect detection; and Jules Tournier et fils (France), focused on preserve artisanal knowledge through gesture recognition. The technical coordination of the pilots ran in charge of AITEX.
El Digitalization Protocol It collects lessons learned, methodologies, and roadmaps adapted to different levels of technological maturity. They have been distributed more than 200 copies (physical and digital) between professionals and companies, and its application is reinforced by a digital ecosystem that connects to More than 100 textile companies and technology players. The underlying idea is both simple and ambitious: less theory and more implementation, with guides that can be immediately applied in the plant and office.
La training of people has been another priority objective. Under the leadership of the agency for competitiveness of the Generalitat de Catalunya, ACCIÓ in the process of formation and accreditation of experts, have been formed 85 professionals and have been certified almost 40 specialists in textile digitalization. In addition, More than 700 Participants have taken part in workshops and activities, promoting the exchange of good practices and the adoption of 4.0 solutions. Because transformation is only real when it translates into talent, capabilities and decisions within each company.
DigiTVC is a project transnational that unites industry, administration and applied knowledge. El consortium is composed of Texfor (leader), ACCIÓ, CITEVE, AITEX, Municipality of Vila Nova de Famalicão (CMVNF), ITU SUD e ICAMEThe collaboration between Catalonia, Portugal and France has allowed solutions to be tested in different contexts and validate a transferable approach to other regions and industrial textile value chains.
