Project funded by the European program, ERASMUS + and lasting 30 months, in which organizations from 5 countries have participated: Greece, Spain, Romania, the United Kingdom and Belgium. It is a platform where an innovative and comprehensive training protocol is developed for export personnel in the fashion industries.
Both the textile and fashion industries need trained personnel with the ability to respond to a globalized market and the need for internationalization. The fashion industry needs new training systems for its employees so that they can respond to the demands of the labor market and global competition. To respond to these challenges, the Extroskills project was created, financed by the European program, ERASMUS + and with a duration of 30 months, in which organizations from 5 countries have participated: Greece, Spain, Romania, the United Kingdom and Belgium.
Through a platform where an innovative and comprehensive training protocol is developed for export personnel in the fashion industries. The project offers essential skills that allow us to be ready to respond to international trade, market demands, improvements in internationalization and the competitiveness of the industry as a whole. The objective is to learn the skills to adapt to the needs of fashion export and marketing personnel, cooperation between formal education providers and companies and define a professional profile for experts in fashion export and marketing. The course is formed in an integrated certification framework, based on the acquired knowledge, skills and competencies, in accordance with the European Qualifications Framework (MEC).
As it is a closed project, we can see that the results were favorable: A digital training platform was built where fashion industries and managers from all over Europe meet. We offered an improvement of the knowledge and skills of export and fashion marketing staff with continued involvement of industry staff.
