The Cotton Textile Foundation recognizes innovation in the sector with the 2025 Awards.

The 11th Cotton Textile Foundation Innovation Awards have been announced.

The Cotton Textile Foundation (FTA) has launched its 2025 Innovation Awards, a well-established initiative that seeks to recognize commitment to research, technological development, and continuous improvement in the textile industry.

Two categories to boost the sector's progress

• Innovative textile company award
  It recognizes companies that have developed an outstanding track record in industrial innovation, with projects that add value and transformation to the sector.
• Innovation Award for young talent
  Aimed at students and researchers under 35 years of age who present innovative projects applicable to the textile and clothing industry. This award is endowed with a total of 6.000 euros and aims to foster the development of new talent and promote innovation in the sector.

Requirements, deadlines and submission of applications

Projects must be innovative, technologically transferable, and applicable to the textile industry. The deadline for submitting applications is open until 15 September 2025, through the Cotton Textile Foundation website. Once the application has been accepted, participants will have until 15th October 2025 to deliver the report and executive summary of the project.

Jury and award ceremony

The jury will be composed of representatives from the business world, specialized media, technology centers, and academia. Manuel Díaz, president of the FTA, will chair the jury. The awards ceremony will be held during the Annual Meeting of the Cotton Association (AITPA).

The FTA is committed to active dissemination among young audiences through its profiles on Instagram y LinkedIn, promoting participation and visibility of projects.
