This organization, made up of business associations and federations in the textile sector, is the highest body for coordination and representation of its members. Through the CIE, our voice is heard before the main forums, organizations, unions and bodies of national Public Administrations (CEOE, Ministries, Congress of Deputies, UNE, etc.), and international ones (European Parliament, European Commission, Euratex , Ginetex, European Technological Platform, etc.).
In the CIE organization, Texfor leads the areas of commercial policy and sustainability, participating in national and European working groups, providing technical knowledge.

Texfor, through CIE, holds the vice presidency and the Secretariat of the CTN 40 Committee (Textile Industry) of the Spanish Association for Standardization (UNE), whose purpose is the development of technical specifications and standards that are used by organizations and companies such as guarantee to prove the quality and safety of its activities and products.
Texfor is an integral member, among other working groups, of the GT 11 Circularity in the textile chain, from the Spanish Technical Committee CTN GET 26 «Hygienic masks. Texfor actively participates in the study group for Decarbonization of the United Nations (UN). Texfor, representing CIE, is a member of the Board of Directors of the European Confederation of the Textile and Clothing Industry (EURATEX). It influences the decisions of this European body, with the aim of defending the interests of the Spanish textile industry within the framework of the European Union. Likewise, he participates in the working groups of: Skills, Sustainable Business and the Trade and Internal Market group, among others.

Texfor presides over the International Textile Care Labeling Association (Ginetex), through the Spanish Intertextile Council (CIE).
GINETEX Spain, coordinated by the CIE, is the only Spanish member of Ginetex International. ETP is made up of representatives from universities, companies and technology centers. Through the Spanish Intertextile Council, Texfor defends the interests of the textile industry before the Spanish business association.
