Texfor is participating as an Internationalization Support Agent in the new 'Catalunya Exporta' program

El Governthrough ACTION (the business growth agency of the Department of Business and Labor), has launched 'Catalonia Exports', a new public-private program aimed at boosting the start of exporting and facilitating that 2.000 Catalan companies begin to internationalize.

The initiative, presented by the Minister of Business and Work, miquel samper, together with the Secretary of Business and Competitiveness and the CEO of ACCIÓ, Jaume Baró TorresIt is part of the new Strategy for the internationalization of the Catalan economy 2026-2030.

According to the minister, Catalunya Exporta was created with the aim of strengthening the country's export base, with more companies prepared to tackle international markets with guarantees.

The program offers support and mentoring to the participating companies during three yearsthrough a specialist technician in international trade. This support includes the development of a custom diagnosis or with a route plan to start export activity, identifying capabilities, areas for improvement and the necessary steps to move forward safely.

The monitoring is continuous, with the specialist as a point of reference to progressively consolidate international activity.

In this context, Texfor participates in 'Catalunya Exporta' as an “Internationalization Support Agent” accredited by ACCIÓ, a strategic role to bring the program closer to companies, in this case textile companies, and facilitate their access to specialized support.

This participation reinforces Texfor's commitment to the international competitiveness of industry in general and textiles in particular, providing proximity, sector knowledge and guidance so that more companies can start —or better structure— their entry into foreign markets within the framework of the program.

'Catalunya Exporta' is coordinated by ACCIÓ and will be deployed through accredited agents, including the General Council of Cambres de Catalunya, Promotion of National Work, PIMEC, Secartys, TechnoCampus, amec, the Cecot Innovation Foundation, Texfor, FITEX, the Metallurgical Centre and AEGP.

  • Objective: 2.000 companies that they start exporting.
  • Duration: 3 years.
  • Budget: more than 3 million euros.
  • Strategic horizon 2026-2030: to reach 19.000 regular exporting companies.
